The original Final Fantasy VII was one of the PlayStation 1's first significant launch exclusives. Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake has been completely redesigned from the bottom up, with a new battle system and some of the most aesthetically stunning visuals available. However, the presently planned sequels are redundant, considering that the Remake contains only around a third of the original Final Fantasy VII plot.

On June 10th, the first narrative expansion for Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade was published exclusively for the retro bowl PlayStation 5. Additionally, Final Fantasy VII Remake got an update on the same day, which enhanced performance on the PlayStation 5 and introduced a camera mode to all versions.
