The Rush 100 is the first full-framed, true deployment backpack ever made by 5.11. It's designed to hold all of your gear for a 100-hour excursion and comes with lots of different components.
It is built to withstand the elements
The frame of this pack is made out of aluminum, which helps transfer load and makes it easier for you to carry heavier loads. You also get horizontal fiberglass rods that add a ton of rigidity.
It has a lot of compartments and pockets for storage
The main compartment is spacious enough to hold a few day's worth of essential items. There are a few more small pockets for quick access.
It is a very comfortable pack to carry
The shoulder straps have 5.11 Tactical load lifters, which help you adjust them to put more weight on your shoulders rather than your back when carrying heavy loads. They're also really easy to adjust, which means you can customize them for your own personal fit.
It has a hydration pocket
There is a hydration pocket on the front of the pack that I can easily see myself using for an afternoon of mountain biking or for a morning hike, and it even includes a drain hole so you can keep the water out of your bag when it gets wet. It's pretty slick and shows 5.11's attention to detail.
It also has a CCW pouch which is perfectly positioned to allow you to place a holster and two or three magazine pouches on it. This is a great feature for those who like to use their handguns in tactical situations and want the added security of a holster on the inside of their pack.
