Unlike the one-and-done releases of the past, modern video games can be expected to get a content update on a regular basis. And while some players may not like the idea of paying for content they have already purchased, there are many who consider the free update a small price to pay for access to improved graphics and gameplay features months after the initial release.
Fortunately for the average gamer, there is a wealth of free games to choose from on Game Pro Live. And while some are better than others, there are a few that have managed to stand out from the pack over the years.
For starters, there are several big name titles out there. The best of the lot is a 3D, real-time multiplayer title that’s been in the works since 2009.
The most recent iteration of the popular title is a massively enhanced version of the original, which means a better experience for everyone involved.
For the devoted, there are plenty of smaller updates to check out, including an HD version of the game for Retina iPads and a new power-up – or two. The game also makes its presence known with a hefty content upgrade, courtesy of the generous folks at Bandai Namco.
