Carisoprodol, sold under the brand name Prosoma 500 mg, is a muscle relaxant prescribed for the alleviation of muscle injury-related soreness and stiffness. It does its job by interfering with the transmission of pain signals from the nervous system to the brain.
Prosoma 500 mg is designed for short-term usage, usually no more than two to three weeks, and should be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Overdosing or taking a medication for longer than recommended might increase the likelihood of unwanted effects and addiction.
