1. Turn Off and On:
Power off the Ricoh machine completely and wait for a few seconds. Then, turn it back on. Sometimes, this simple step can reset the error.
2. Check for Jammed Paper:
Inspect the fusing unit and surrounding areas for any jammed paper. Remove any obstructions carefully.
3. Clearing the Error Code:
To clear the error code, press the "Clear Modes" button followed by "1," "0," "7," and then hold down the "Clear/Stop" button until the screen changes.
4. Resetting the Fusing Unit:
Enter the service mode by pressing "Clear Modes," "1," "0," "7," and then hold down the "Stop" key. In the service menu, turn the machine off and on.
5. Check Fusing Unit Components:
Inspect the thermistor, fusing lamp, and thermofuse. Replace any faulty components as needed.
