Bimatoprost lengthens, thickens, and darkens the eyelashes. It is thought to improve eyelash hair growth by extending and increasing the number of hairs in the growth phase (anagen). The supplied applicator or brush is used to apply Careprost eye drops to the base of the top eyelashes. Careprost Eye Drops solution is used once per day, usually in the evening. Common side effects include itching, redness, and inflammation of the eyes. Some persons may notice a darkening of the skin on their upper eyelids or an increase in brown pigmentation of the iris. Any unusual or severe side effects should be reported to your doctor.
