Increased cGMP Levels: By inhibiting PDE5, tadalafil helps to maintain higher levels of cGMP in the erectile tissue. This prolonged presence of cGMP enhances the vasodilatory effects of nitric oxide, promoting increased blood flow to the penis.
Enhanced Erection: With the increased blood flow, the penis can achieve and maintain a firm erection suitable for sexual activity.
It's important to note that Tadarise 40, like other medications containing tadalafil, does not cause spontaneous erections. Sexual stimulation is still necessary to initiate the release of nitric oxide and the subsequent cascade of events leading to an erection. Additionally, the effects of tadalafil can last for up to 36 hours, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the "weekend pill."
