The 2014 audi a4 engine has two gearbox options to compliment its 2.0L TFSI® engine. Front-wheel-drive vehicles can be equipped with the Multitronic® continuously variable gearbox (CVT), which delivers power smoothly and efficiently. For quattro® vehicles, the eight-speed Tiptronic® automatic gearbox provides accurate gear changes as well as manual control via paddle shifters. Both choices improve the driving experience by increasing engine performance and efficiency.
