Hi all, I recently started reading No Way But Forward by Brian K. Barber and I’m completely drawn into it. The book tells the real-life stories of three families living in the Gaza Strip and how they’ve endured decades of conflict and hardship.
Barber is a social psychologist with years of field experience, and it really shows in his writing. He approaches their stories with deep empathy and clarity, making the book feel more like a human journey than just a political analysis.
If you’re interested in books about resilience, global conflict, or just powerful nonfiction storytelling, I highly recommend checking this one out. You can learn more about his work at bkbarber.com.
Has anyone else here read it or followed his work on youth and trauma in conflict zones? Would love to hear your thoughts!
