There are so many pellet guns on the market now that I’m overwhelmed trying to pick one. I’m looking for something affordable, durable, and accurate enough for squirrel hunting and occasional plinking. Is it better to go for a break-barrel or jump straight into PCP? I’ve heard great things about the Avenger and Gamo models. Also, which calibers do you recommend starting with—.177 or .22? If anyone has a setup they swear by for under $500, please share. I’d really appreciate any advice or experience!
