Avana 100 mg contains the active ingredient Avanafil, which is a PDE5 inhibitor used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It improves blood circulation specifically in the penile tissues, but its mechanism can have effects on blood flow in general. How Avana 100 mg (Avanafil) Improves Blood Circulation: 1. Inhibition of PDE5 (Phosphodiesterase type 5): PDE5 is an enzyme that breaks down cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate), a molecule that helps relax smooth muscle tissue. By blocking PDE5, Avanafil increases cGMP levels. Avana 100 mg Increased cGMP causes the smooth muscles in blood vessels to relax, particularly in the corpus cavernosum of the penis. This relaxation allows blood vessels to widen (vasodilation). 3. Enhanced Blood Flow: With relaxed vessels, more blood can flow into the penis, which leads to an erection during sexual stimulation. While its main action is localized to the pelvic area, vasodilation can mildly affect systemic blood circulation as well. Important Notes: Avanafil does not increase blood flow throughout the entire body in a clinically significant way unless there's underlying vascular responsiveness. It is not a treatment for cardiovascular diseases or general circulation issues. Do not take Avana 100 mg with nitrates or certain blood pressure medications, as it can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
