Fildena, which contains sildenafil citrate, is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing blood flow to the penis. While effective, it may worsen certain underlying medical conditions, especially if not used under medical supervision.
Diseases That May Be Affected:
Heart Disease: FILDENA can lower blood pressure. Men with heart conditions, such as angina, heart failure, or recent heart attack/stroke, may face increased risk of cardiovascular events, especially if they are on nitrate medications.
Liver or Kidney Disease: These organs metabolize and eliminate sildenafil. In people with impaired function, the drug may accumulate, increasing the risk of toxicity and side effects.
Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension): Fildena can cause a further drop in blood pressure, leading to fainting, dizziness, or serious complications.
Eye Disorders: Conditions like retinitis pigmentosa or a history of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) can worsen with Fildena use, possibly leading to vision loss.
Bleeding Disorders or Stomach Ulcers: Sildenafil may slightly affect platelet function, increasing the risk of bleeding.
Fildena should be avoided or used with extreme caution in individuals with these conditions. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting ED treatment to ensure safety.
