Last December, our street turned into a wonderland. Families came out together, hanging ornaments and sharing cocoa. Kids raced around, laughing as snowflakes fell. My neighbor brought an old projector that played snow patterns on his garage door—it looked magical. We worked late into the evening, and when we finally switched everything on, the entire block glowed with warmth. It wasn’t about perfection but togetherness. Every time I walk past those same homes now, I remember how much fun it was helping with christmas lights and outdoor decorations, realizing it’s not about the lights themselves—it’s about how they make people feel.
