When comparing delta vs southwest airlines, loyalty programs are worth considering. Delta SkyMiles allows you to earn points on every flight, which can be redeemed for upgrades or international travel. Southwest’s Rapid Rewards program is excellent for domestic trips, with points that don’t expire and easy redemption. If you fly often, Delta might appeal more for international perks, while Southwest is ideal for consistent domestic travel. Personally, I find that the value of each program depends on how and where you usually fly. For someone who travels occasionally, Southwest’s simple points system is stress-free, but for frequent global travelers, Delta’s elite benefits are hard to beat.
