I am trying to figure out whether upgrading a long haul ticket is worth it, and I am thinking about contacting the Lufthansa Airlines Dulles Office for details. Before I reach out, I wanted to ask the community if anyone has asked them about upgrade possibilities recently. Were they able to explain the difference clearly between price changes, seat types, and availability? I like having a full picture before deciding, especially for long flights. If you have gone through the upgrade process with their help, I would love to hear how it went and whether it made the decision easier. Any insight on how early you should ask about availability would be appreciated too.
