Hi everyone —
I’d like to open a thread for event-planners (especially small or indie planners) to share practical, budget-friendly strategies to enhance guest experience at parties or events. In today's crowded market, clients expect not only decor and food, but also atmosphere, seamless coordination, and memorable touches — often on a tight budget.
Some questions I hope we can tackle together:
What are low-cost but high-impact ideas you’ve used to make guests feel special (lighting, music, layout, interactive elements, little details)?
Do you use checklists or Granny Game templates to plan events — and which ones actually help keep things smooth?
How do you gather guest feedback after events (for improvement), without being intrusive?
For small teams or solo planners: how do you balance quality and budget while still delivering “wow” moments?
Would love to hear your real-life experiences, go-to solutions, and even fail — so we all learn together.
Thanks in advance for sharing!
