Fildena Super Active contains Sildenafil (the same active ingredient as in Viagra) and is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Like other PDE5 inhibitors, Fildena Super Active works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping to achieve and maintain an erection. However, Fildena Super Active should never be taken with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide dinitrate), which are medications commonly used to treat chest pain (angina) and certain heart conditions. Why Fildena Super Active and Nitrates Should Not Be Combined: Both Fildena Super Active (Sildenafil) and nitrates cause vasodilation (relaxation of the blood vessels), which leads to a drop in blood pressure. When combined, this effect can be severe and dangerous, leading to potentially life-threatening hypotension (very low blood pressure). This dangerous drop in blood pressure can cause: Dizziness Fainting Heart Fildena Super Active or stroke (in extreme cases) Shock, which can be life-threatening When Should Fildena Super Active Not Be Taken with Nitrates? If you are currently using nitrate medications for chest pain, heart failure, or any other heart-related conditions, do not take Fildena Super Active. Examples of nitrate medications include nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate. If you are on recreational or other medications that release nitric oxide (such as poppers or other substances for erectile dysfunction), you should avoid combining them with Fildena Super Active. What to Do if You Need Both Treatments: If you require both Fildena Super Active (for ED) and nitrate medication (for heart problems), consult your doctor first. There may be alternative treatments available for one or both conditions. Your doctor may prescribe a lower dose of Sildenafil or recommend a different ED treatment that’s safer for your heart.
