Malegra is a sildenafil-based erectile dysfunction (ED) medication, similar to Fildena or Cenforce. Because sildenafil affects blood flow and can lower blood pressure, it can interact dangerously with certain heart conditions. Malegra should generally be avoided in the following cases related to heart attack history: Recent heart attack (within the last 6 months): Sexual activity itself can put stress on the heart. Taking Malegra shortly after a heart attack increases cardiovascular risk. Unstable angina or chest pain: Men with ongoing chest pain should avoid Malegra until their heart condition is stable. Severe heart failure: Sildenafil may worsen symptoms in advanced heart failure. Concurrent use of nitrates: If a patient is taking nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, or similar nitrate medications, combining with Malegra can cause dangerously low blood pressure.
