So my C7’s been sitting for a couple of weeks while I was traveling, and of course I came back to that dreaded click-click-click instead of the usual startup roar. Checked the voltage and it’s sitting around 11.8V, so yeah, definitely time for a new one. I’ve called a few regular garages around Industrial Area, but most of them either don’t carry the right AGM specs or just give me that blank look when I mention it’s a Corvette. I’d rather not go the dealership route and pay double what it’s worth. Then I stumbled across this page about Corvette battery replacement service in Sharjah, and the process they described seems straightforward, but I’m always a bit cautious about handing over the car somewhere unfamiliar, especially since these cars can be finicky with electronics after a disconnect. Anyone here actually used them or can recommend a shop that won’t reset my radio presets and leave a scratch on the fender? Also curious if they carry the proper vented batteries or just whatever fits. Appreciate any recent experiences, good or bad.
