Filitra contains vardenafil, a medicine used for erectile dysfunction. It can interact with several blood pressure (BP) medications, so caution is important. Dangerous interaction (DO NOT combine) Nitrate medicines (very important) These are used for chest pain/heart disease: Nitroglycerin / Glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) Isosorbide mononitrate / dinitrate “Poppers” (amyl nitrite) Combining with Filitra can cause a severe drop in blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, Filitra even life-threatening complications. Use with caution (doctor supervision needed) 1. Alpha-blockers (for BP or prostate) Tamsulosin Doxazosin Prazosin Can cause low blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting, especially when starting or changing doses. 2.
