Poxet 30 mg contains dapoxetine, a medicine mainly used to treat premature ejaculation (PE), not erectile dysfunction (ED). So its effectiveness depends on the problem you are trying to treat. Key point first: Poxet 30 mg is NOT a treatment for severe ED (erectile dysfunction). It does not improve erection hardness, blood flow, or ability to maintain an erection. How Poxet 30 mg actually works Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). It works on the brain to: Delay ejaculation Increase control over climax Improve time before ejaculation in PE Poxet 30 mg Clinical studies show it can increase ejaculation time in men with PE compared to placebo . So its purpose is ejaculation control, not erection strength. Why it does NOT help severe ED Erectile dysfunction is usually caused by: Poor blood flow to the penis Diabetes, stress, hormones, or nerve issues Psychological performance anxiety Poxet (dapoxetine): Does NOT increase blood flow Does NOT improve erection hardness Does NOT treat ED physiology So in severe ED cases, it will generally be ineffective or feel useless. When it might still help indirectly Sometimes men with ED also have premature ejaculation due to anxiety. In such mixed cases: It may slightly help confidence But it will not fix erection quality Proper ED treatments (for comparison) For real ED, doctors usually prescribe: Sildenafil (Viagra) Tadalafil (Cialis) Vardenafil These improve blood flow and erection quality, unlike dapoxetine.
