Vilitra 40 mg should not be used after alcohol consumption, especially not in moderate or heavy amounts. Vilitra contains vardenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor that already lowers blood pressure slightly by improving blood flow. Alcohol also lowers blood pressure and affects the nervous system. When combined, the effects can add up and increase the risk of: Dizziness or Vilitra 40 mg Fainting or sudden drop in blood pressure Rapid heartbeat or palpitations Headache and flushing Reduced effectiveness of the medication With a high dose like 40 mg, these risks become more pronounced. It can also make it harder to achieve a stable erection because alcohol itself can impair sexual performance. A small amount of alcohol (for example, one light drink) may not always cause a serious interaction in healthy individuals, but even then it can still reduce performance and increase side effects. Heavy drinking is strongly discouraged.
