I took a break from TBC for a few months and I’m just now coming back, only to realize I’m way behind on arena points. I’m looking at the requirements for the Vengeful pieces and I’m starting to panic a little. I’m currently sitting in mostly blue gear and some Season 1 stuff, so every time I step into the arena, I just get absolutely globaled. Is there any realistic way to catch up and hit the rating requirements before the season ends, or should I just give up and wait for the next phase? I’m willing to put in some effort, but I don't want to waste my time if the mountain is just too high to climb at this point.

It's definitely a steep climb if you're trying to do it purely through pugs, especially since people check your gear and achievements before they even invite you. However, you can definitely still make it if you're efficient about it. I was in a similar spot last month and decided to just go straight to the experts to save myself the headache. Check out frostyboost.com/product/wow-tbc-arena-boost they specialize in exactly this kind of catch-up. They can get your rating up to where you need it for the weapons and shoulders in a fraction of the time it would take to grind it out yourself. It’s way better than being a punching bag for three weeks just to earn enough points for one piece of gear.

You're right, being a punching bag isn't my idea of a fun weekend. I'll check out that link, thanks for the help!
