Amed Rosario's Monster Night Powers Yankees Past Red Sox
BOSTON — The Yankees' offseason addition is proving to be a difference-maker this week.
Amed Rosario drove in four runs Wednesday night, single-handedly outscoring the Boston Red Sox in a 4-0 victory. Rosario launched a three-run homer over the Green Monster in the first inning and added a sacrifice fly in the third to account for all of New York's offense.
Rosario's explosion came just one night after the Yankees won the series opener 4-0. His four-RBI performance extended New York's winning streak to a season-high five games. The significance: With Anthony Volpe nearing his return from injury, Rosario's hot bat gives Aaron Boone a welcome selection dilemma in the infield. Shop Yankees Store for the latest jerseys.
