Five nights at freddy's is a survival horror game that takes place in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant. In order to survive five nights and defend against hostile animatronics, the player assumes the role of a night-time security guard who must utilize a variety of tools in the restaurant, including security cameras, lights, doors, and vents.
The player is tasked with the responsibility of safeguarding the restaurant from the animatronic characters, who will be present during the evening. They must also avoid being assaulted or startled by the characters.
