ViewSRD's SASSA status tool helps applicants understand why their SASSA SRD application status may not update immediately. In many cases, delayed status updates are caused by ongoing monthly eligibility checks, identity verification, banking detail validation, high application volumes, or system processing times. A status may remain Pending until all required checks have been completed, and payment information is only displayed once an application has been approved.
