Was skeptical at first but commercial drone mapping turned out to be pretty solid for our last project — got orthomosaic imagery + GIS-ready data that our survey team could actually use for planning. Used a Houston-based provider (ISKY Drone Services) since our site was local, and turnaround was fast compared to waiting on traditional survey crews. If you've got a large commercial or industrial site and need updated aerial data regularly, might be worth exploring drone mapping instead of doing everything manually. Anyone else compared drone mapping vs traditional surveying costs?
