The airport can get busy, especially during mornings, weekends, holidays, and other peak travel periods. I would recommend arriving early enough to handle check-in, security, and the walk to your gate without rushing.
One thing I find helpful is checking the flight and gate information as soon as you get through security. Gates can change, and knowing where you need to be makes it easier to grab a coffee, find something to eat, or simply relax before boarding.
If you have a connecting flight, pay close attention to your connection time. The CLT Airport can involve quite a bit of walking, so a short connection may feel tighter than expected. For longer connections, there are plenty of places to sit, eat, and take a break.
Overall, a bit of planning goes a long way. Keep your documents handy, watch the flight screens, allow extra time, and you should have a much smoother airport experience.
