Has anyone traveled through Charlotte recently? I’m curious about what the terminal experience is like, especially for someone visiting for the first time.
From what I understand, the Charlotte Douglas International Airport Terminal has a central terminal with several concourses, so passengers can reach different gates without having to transfer between completely separate terminal buildings. Still, I imagine it can feel pretty large if you are unfamiliar with the layout.
I’d also like to know how easy it is to find check-in counters, security, restaurants, and departure gates. If someone has a short connection, is there usually enough time to get from one gate to another comfortably?
For anyone who has traveled through recently, how was your experience? Were the signs easy to follow, and did you find the airport staff helpful? Any practical tips for making the experience smoother would be appreciated.
