The 454 Chev engine is renowned for its good low and medium range torque, making it an intriguing choice for classic trucks and heavy-duty usage. The 454 big block has enough displacement, but then again the combination of parts used is an important factor here too.
If you know anything about building 454 engines, please suggest me a suitable combination of parts for max torque output. I'm particularly interested in the following combinations: camshaft, compression ratio, intake systems, and exhaust system.
