I’m getting ready to switch careers, and my resume needs a complete rewrite. The hardest part is describing my past work in a way that fits my new target roles. A friend told me to look into AI, but there are so many options out there that I don’t know where to start. Has anyone figured out the best ai tools for resume writing?
Here’s what I’m hoping these tools can help me with:
Rewriting my past experience so it fits a different industry.
Creating strong bullet points that focus on results, not just duties.
Adding the right keywords from the job posting.
Fixing grammar, tone, and awkward phrases.
I’m also a little concerned about originality. If the AI gives me the same wording that thousands of other people are using, my resume won’t stand out. I still want it to sound like me.
I’d love to hear from people who have been through this:
Which tools gave you the most useful suggestions?
How much of the AI-generated text did you keep, and how much did you rewrite?
Did your resume get better responses after using them?
If you’ve tried any of the best AI tools for resume writing, please share your honest experience and tips. Thanks in advance!
